Varroa Gard is a powder product developed to help in the fight against Varroa. Sold as a Beehive Sanitizer Varroa Gard's active ingredients include oxalic acid, wild thyme oils, and green sulphur. Effective in reducing the count of Varroa mites, keeping good overall hive hygiene and bringing greater hive vitality to any colony it is applied to. The active ingredients in Varroa Gard has been approved by DEFRA as a beehive sanitizer in the United Kingdom. The 1kg tub should be plenty for a years treatment of two colonies.

Varroa Guard Varroa mite treatment
Varroa Gard is easy to apply being in a powder form. Simply spread about 200g over a shallow tray which is then placed inside the hive entrance or over the brood chamber. Replenish as and when required. It is not advisable to use any other Varroa treatment while Varroa Gard is in use.
